If Anything Happens To Me, Hold Apostle Responsible – Eucharia Anunobi Cries Out

Veteran Nollywood actress and evangelist Eucharia Anunobi has publicly raised concerns about her safety, claiming that her life, family, and ministry are under serious threat.

Naija News reports that Anunobi made the allegation in a video shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, where she warned that any harm done to her, her loved ones, or her properties—either within Nigeria or abroad—should be blamed on Apostle Psalm Okpe, the founder of Fresh Oil Ministry, Egbeda, Lagos, and members of his family.

The actress also stated that she is prepared to undergo a medical examination to prove that she has remained sexually inactive for nearly 14 years since she was ordained into ministry.

Speaking in the video, Anunobi explained that she decided to address the matter publicly after coming across several online reports and narratives about her. She maintained that she remains steadfast in her calling and would not allow any attempt to undermine or derail her ministry.

She revealed that Apostle Okpe was the cleric who ordained her and that she once served as an associate pastor in his church. However, according to her, she later began to observe practices within the ministry which she described as disturbing, unhealthy, and inconsistent with her values, including what she termed transactional approaches to ministry.

Anunobi said the situation eventually became intolerable, prompting her to formally request to exit the ministry towards the end of 2015.

She further alleged that despite her departure, Apostle Okpe continued for years to publicly claim that she was still operating under his ministry, a statement she insisted was untrue.

The evangelist also addressed claims allegedly made by Okpe suggesting that they were romantically involved for several years. She described the allegation as false and malicious, adding that it caused her significant emotional distress and formed part of what she termed a prolonged attempt to damage her reputation and spiritual work.

Confirming legal action, Anunobi disclosed that she has taken the matter to court and filed a defamation lawsuit against the cleric.

She reiterated her warning that any physical harm to her or her family should not be ignored, stressing that she felt compelled to speak out in order to protect her life and integrity.
