According to Naija News, Wizkid took to 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday night to warn Seun Kuti against comparing him with Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. The post, however, sparked outrage after Wizkid made a crude and personal remark involving Seun’s wife.
Reacting to the comment, Seun Kuti addressed the issue during a live video session, where he openly expressed his anger over Wizkid’s decision to involve his family in the feud.
The Afrobeat singer stated that responsible men should never drag women or children into conflicts between adults, describing Wizkid’s comment as disrespectful and unnecessary.
Seun Kuti also fired back by mocking Wizkid’s relationship with his partner, Jada P, who is older than the singer. He questioned why someone in such a relationship would feel comfortable attacking another man’s wife, adding that bringing family members into online fights only reflects immaturity and a lack of respect.
Speaking further, Seun revealed that the online abuse had extended to his child, with some fans reportedly taking the insults to his child’s social media page.
He condemned such actions as harmful and destructive but maintained that neither he nor his family would be broken by the attacks. According to him, the experience would only make his child stronger, as learning to face difficult situations is part of growing up—something he himself experienced in his early life.
