The figure was disclosed on Monday by the Olori Ebi of the Fusengbuwa Ruling House, Otunba Jadiara, Lateef Owoyemi, at the commencement of the nomination meeting held at Bisi Rodipe Hall, GRA, Ijebu-Ode.
Speaking at the event, Owoyemi explained that the names of candidates who successfully passed the initial screening stage would be forwarded to the Afobajes. He noted that the Afobajes would then select one candidate as the next Awujale and forward the chosen name to the Ogun State Government for further action.
He added that individuals who are dissatisfied with the nomination process are free to channel their grievances through the appropriate government authorities.
