2027: ‘The Eyes Of The Nation Are Upon Us’ – Okowa Tells APC Members To Deliver Votes For Tinubu

Former Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, has charged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to ensure overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.
Okowa made the call on Monday during a meeting of leaders and stakeholders of the Ika Federal Constituency, held in Agbor, Ika Local Government Area of Delta State. The gathering was organised to brief party members on the ongoing APC electronic membership registration exercise.
The meeting was also attended by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
Addressing party faithful, Okowa noted that the presence of prominent party leaders at the event should put to rest any political concerns within the constituency. He emphasised that Delta State must deliver election results that would resonate across the country.
According to him, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was the first sitting governor to openly align with the APC, stressing that the development had placed Delta State under national attention.
Okowa urged party members to shun internal divisions, warning that disunity weakens the party and could jeopardise electoral success.
He said, “If we collectively and decisively resolve to work together, we can establish political dominance across all 26 wards of the Ika Federal Constituency. Delta State is setting the pace.
“Our governor was the first to align openly and decisively with the President, and as a result, the eyes of the nation are on us.
“The outcome of elections in Delta State will speak loudly across Nigeria.”
