Popular Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has issued a strong warning to a woman allegedly impersonating her on TikTok, vowing to pursue the matter legally.
Speaking in a video shared on her Instagram page, the movie star accused the unidentified woman of posing as her on TikTok and defrauding unsuspecting fans by demanding money from them. Tonto stated that the impersonator has also been stealing her original content and reposting it while pretending to be her, rather than running a fan page.
The outspoken actress revealed that investigations are already ongoing and that security agencies are involved in tracking down the suspect. She stressed that once the impersonator is apprehended, she will ensure the full weight of the law is applied, regardless of public sympathy or online pressure.
According to Tonto, she is fully aware that the person behind the fake account is a woman, adding that no one would be able to intervene once legal action begins.
Meanwhile, the actress recently gave fans deeper insight into her personal life, education, and career path. In a video shared on her official Facebook page, Tonto opened up about aspects of her life that are often overlooked due to her celebrity status and controversies.
She surprised many followers by disclosing that she is a trained Petrochemical Engineer, having studied Petrochemical Engineering at Rivers State University, formerly known as Rivers State University of Science and Technology.
Tonto noted that although this academic achievement has long been listed in her biography, it rarely attracts attention, as public focus has largely remained on her acting career and high-profile lifestyle.
