The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially launched its e-membership registration exercise across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, with the aim of boosting internal structure, proper documentation and enhancing participation within the party.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, through a post shared on his verified 𝕏 handle.
According to Yilwatda, the registration and validation will take place at the ward level nationwide to ensure full grassroots involvement. He noted that the exercise is open to both existing and new members of the ruling party.
“All existing members are expected to validate their membership online, while new and intending members are warmly encouraged to register and become part of the progressive family,” he stated.
Yilwatda explained that the e-membership drive is vital for maintaining credible records, strengthening the party structure, and ensuring every registered member is fully carried along in APC activities and decision-making processes.
“The exercise is vital for proper documentation, party strengthening, and full participation in APC activities and decision-making,” he added.
Reaffirming the importance of a digital membership register, the party chairman described the initiative as a step toward building a more united, transparent, and resilient political movement.
“A stronger register means a stronger party and a more united progressive movement,” he said, urging members to embrace the process in the spirit of democracy and commitment.
The APC has encouraged supporters and party faithful to take advantage of the ongoing registration to update their records and reaffirm loyalty to the party.
